The video tutorials are designed to help a new user of the INERTIA test automation software get accustomed to the interface, features, and tools. The tutorials range from 6 to 8 minutes each and are available for trial and customers of the software. The videos include the following:

INERTIA is a powerful add-on for NI VeriStand specifically designed for quickly and efficiently implementing real-time control and test applications. The software add-on for NI VeriStand provides a seamless, integrated control solution for test cell applications such as dynamometer and servo-hydraulic test systems. INERTIA has been successfully deployed in a wide range of test cell control systems, such as:

  • Engine cells, transmissions, and motors

  • Actuators, valves, and pumps

  • Turbines and gear boxes

  • Auxiliary power units (APUs)

  • Tire test systems

  • Life cycle durability

  • Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) testing

In general, the software is ideal for any multi-mode or multi-axis control application that utilizes dynamometers or hydraulic control.
