Designed for the growing 100- to 149-seat market, the new Bombardier CSeries aircraft family combines advanced materials, leading-edge technology,  and proven methods to meet commercial airline requirements for 2013 and beyond. Bombardier chose Parker Hannifin as a partner on this project, and Parker brought in Genuen (formerly Wineman Technology) for their expertise in developing automated test rigs known as HSITR, to simulate and test the system design prior to flight.  A HSITR provides actual aircraft fluid to components related to controlling the flight surfaces and landing gear systems, as well as the pump that delivers the hydraulics at the required pressure and flow rate.
