It can be very cumbersome for customers testing multiple Electronics Control Units (ECUs), with a variety of ECU connectors. At Genuen, we seek to simplify your testing operations through a platform-based approach.

One way that we're able to achieve this is by using Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) that can support a whole family of similar devices under test (DUTs).

These boxes define the personality of the  hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) equipment. The mass interconnect is a superset of the customers inputs/outputs (IO) organized by functions. The ITA remaps that IO based on the customers unique pinout and connectorization. A single ITA can support a subsystem of modules with various connectors or a family of ECUs.
