Genuen’s Propeller Retention Fatigue Test System for aerospace applications is designed to monitor and test the pitch change torque (i.e., how a propeller’s retention friction varies over time and as the axial force applied changes).
The propeller unit under test (UUT) is mounted horizontally on the test bench. A rotary actuator, built into the test system, applies a ±30-degree centrifugal tension load to the end of one propeller blade.
